Kimberly Lisle Daves

Kimberly Lisle Daves (Smith) born on the 15th of October, 1964 passed away peacefully surrounded by love at sunrise on the 7th of October, 2021. Kim is survived by her parents, James Lyle and Tena Elizabeth Daves of Columbia, SC; her brothers, Michael Durel Daves of Puyallup, WA and James David Daves of Murrels Inlet, SC; her sister, Stephanie Belle Daves McKenzie of Costa Rica; her daughter, Kimberly Nicole Smith of Chapin, SC; her grandsons, Brayden Nickolas Smith-Rathbun, and Chase Michael Smith-Aiken, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Also, surviving is her boyfriend, Joe Miller of Lexington, SC. She is preceded in death by her birth family, brother, Paul Douglas Duke; sisters, Tracy Dean McCary, and Tommie Jean Evans; her mother, Bobbie Dean Daves Lee; and her daughter, Delores Elizabeth Smith. Kim’s kind and generous heart is deeply missed by all who knew her. Her family will miss her hugs the most. Kim’s artistic talents have left her loved ones with handmade gifts that her family will cherish for the rest of our lives. Kim brought sweet treats to every gathering and she was as sweet as her desserts that she made. Family and friends have been honored to spend their lives knowing such a beautiful woman. Please join us for a Celebration of Life service this Saturday, October 23, 2021, at 2:00 pm at Temples-Halloran Funeral Home to honor Kim’s life. At the family's request please wear colorful attire.
