A memorial service for Kim A. Hall will be held on Monday, May 13, 2024, at 3:00 p.m., in the Temples-Halloran Funeral Home Chapel The family will greet friends at the funeral home beginning at 2:00 p.m. Kim will be inurned privately with her late husband, Oscar, at Fort Jackson National Cemetery. Kim was born on September 6, 1954, in Mercer County, Ohio, to Dean Eugene Hellwarth and Marilyn Alice McElfresh. She graduated from Celina High School in 1973. Kim was a homemaker and volunteered at The Call, a local thrift store. She was an Ohio State Buckeyes fan. She and her husband were members of the Assembly of God/Abounding Grace in Celina, Ohio. Kim relocated to Columbia in 2019 to be closer to her elder daughter. She enjoyed the activities and people she had encountered at the Seven Oaks Park Center. Kim is survived by her daughters, Brandy L. Barnes (Chris) and Shirley L. Hall; her grandson, Hayden Barnes; her brother, Calvin Hellwarth; and her beloved pets, Buster and Niko. Besides her husband, Kim was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Joyce Hellwarth.
