Keith Parnelle

James Keith Parnelle,  Jr., 69, of Columbia went to be with his Savior, Jesus Christ on February 5, 2025.

Celebration of Life Services will be held 11:30 am on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Riverland Hills Baptist Church. The family will receive friends in the atrium immediately following the service.

Keith was born January 22, 1956, in Allendale County to Jimmy Parnelle and Ann Kennedy Parnelle.  Keith grew up working for his granddaddy at Thomas & Howard Cash & Carry and enjoyed playing sports.  He graduated from Allendale Academy and attended the University of South Carolina.   He enjoyed attending football games with his brother, Alan.  He worked construction busting rods until he made his career in Water & Wastewater Treatment as an Environmental Operator after which he retired.  He was a member of Riverland Hills Baptist Church.  He was a loving and faithful husband, step-dad, granddad and son.

He is predecessed by his mother, Ann Tyler, and brother, Alan Parnelle.   Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 30 years, Andrea Parnelle; his dad, Jimmy Parnelle; step-son, Daniel Bowers and grandson Chilton Bowers.
