Kenneth Odell Truluck

Kenneth Odell Truluck, 77, of Irmo, passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2023. He was born in Manchester, England. on January 9, 1946, to Leslie Howard Truluck and Irene Jackson Truluck. Ken and his mother came to the United States on the Queen Mary when he was only months old. Ken grew up in the Rosewood area and attended the old Columbia High School. After high school, he enlisted in the Army and served in Germany. While in Germany, he was able to visit his grandparents in England. Ken worked for Dunlop and Spalding selling golf equipment for thirty-eight years. He enjoyed playing golf and following the Gamecocks. He is survived by his wife, Kay, of 51 years; his children, Kim (Mike) and Klay (Joni); his grandchildren, Robert and Mary; and his brother, Stan Truluck (Kathy). Ken was predeceased by his brother, Mike Truluck. There will be a Celebration of Life on Sunday, June 4, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at 426 Crims Creek Way, Irmo, South Carolina.
