Columbia—A graveside service for Kathryn P. Dunkley, 82, of Columbia, will be held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 22, 2020, in Bush River Memorial Gardens.Due to the COVID-19 virus, we require everyone to wear a mask and social distance. Kathryn, beloved wife of the late Bruce E. Dunkley, Sr., passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2020.Born in Charleston, SC on November 11, 1938, to the late John Brown Pellum and Bessie Lee Crosby Pellum.She was a mother and homemaker for many years, before co-owning the Perkins/Bruce’s Family Restaurant with her husband. She also worked in her later years for Columbia Pools and Spas and SC Student Loan Corp. She is survived by her daughters, Denise Dianne Dunkley and Pamela D. McKenzie (Charles); sons, John Charles Dunkley and Shawn Michael Dunkley all of Columbia, SC; sisters, Loretta Smith of Greenwood, SC and Betty Maxey of Smoaks, SC; daughter-in-law, Karen Dunkley of Roswell, GA; 8 grandchildren, Ricky Dickson, Jake Dunkley, Michaela Dunkley, Taylor Dunkley, Kendall Dunkley, Cheryl Bagwell (Ben), Nicole McKenzie, and Sarah McKenzie; and one great-grandchild, Madilyn Bagwell. Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce E.
