Julia P. Palazzolo

The graveside service for Julia P. Palazzolo, 93, will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. in Bush River Memorial Gardens, with Reverend Paul Allen officiating. Julia was born on March 10, 1928, in New London, Connecticut, and departed this earthly life on January 20, 2022.She was the daughter of the late Jerome Peebles and Mildred Weyant Peebles.She will be fondly remembered by her family as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Survivors are her daughters, Cynthia Gillyard, Susan Orf (Phil), Rose P. Warth, and Dorn Lever (Randy); son, Clyde G. Hodges; grandchildren, Earl Hodges, Patricia H. Bosarge, Rocky Shealy (Elena), Megan Gillyard (Alex), Jessica Gillespie (Shaun), Stacy Bilodeau (Kyle), Stephanie Warth, Gabe Warth (Catherine), Shannon L. Hipkins (Max) and Dustin F. Lever; 14 great-grandchildren.Those who preceded her in death besides her parents, were husbands, Clyde Hodges and Faro Palazzolo; brother, Robert Peebles; sisters, Virginia Jacques and Helen Alexander; granddaughter, Tara Shealy and daughter-in-law, Patricia Hodges. Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
