Judy Marbert Oken

Judy Marbert Oken, 82, of Columbia passed away peacefully on December 8, 2024. She was born on January 3, 1942 in Johnston, South Carolina. Judy grew up in Johnston and graduated from Johnston High School.

She married Paul Oken and they travelled the world together. Judy was a talented artist, an avid gardener, and a wonderful cook. She worked as an accountant for the South Carolina Department of Corrections until her retirement and went on to apply her skills in the family business.

Those left to mourn her loss in addition to her husband Paul include her daughter, Lisa B. Jeffcoat; her sister, Glenda Clements; her grandson, Christopher Northcutt.

Judy was predeceased by her parents, Thomas E. And Myrtle Marbert and her brother, William "Billy" Marbert.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 12, 2024 in the Chapel of Temples-Halloran Funeral Home, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, South Carolina, 29212. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the hour of service. Entombment will follow in the Bush River Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
