Judith "Judy" Copeland

The memorial service for Judith (Judy) Copeland, 64, of Irmo S.C. will be held on Friday, September 16, 2022, at 6:00 pm in the chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 7449 Broad River Rd, Irmo, SC 29063. A reception for all will follow the service in the church cultural hall. Private inurnment will be held Saturday, September 17, 2022, at Bush River Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Judy Copeland was born in Indiana on June 18, 1958, and passed away on July 26, 2022, after a 7-month battle with pancreatic cancer. She was the daughter of the late Jerry Anthony Keilman and Virginia Rae Dixon. Judy was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She served over 20 years as a Primary Teacher. She also gave countless hours to service in the beloved church Temple in Columbia. She had a passion for taking care of her family, genealogy, gardening, and animals. Survivors include her loving sons, Jeremy (wife Palmer), Jeffrey (wife Amanda), and Philip (wife Renata); grandchildren, Hunter, Zoie, Jenna, Gavin, Lucy, and Evelyn and her two dogs, Toby and Red. Those who preceded her in death besides her parents are her husband of 35 years, James Richard Copeland, and their family dog, Ralph.
