Joyce G. Mckee

The graveside service for Joyce Geiger McKee, 83, of West Columbia, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, 4170 Percival Road, Columbia, SC 29229.The Reverend Jay Black will officiate. Joyce was born in Swansea, SC on February 26, 1938, to the late Clifton C. Geiger and Lela Dowling Geiger.She passed away on March 24, 2021, at Lexington Medical Center.Joyce was a longtime member of Park Street Baptist Church and was attending Westside Baptist Church.She had retired from the S.C. Highway Department after many years of faithful service. Survivors include son, Stephen A. “Andy” McKee III (Daniela); brother, Clifton, “Sonny” Geiger, Jr. (Sandra); grandson, Matthew McKee. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Stephen A. McKee; one brother, Dickie, and one sister, Carolyn.
