COLUMBIA—Funeral services for Jonathan D. Field, 36, of Columbia will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 26, 2016 at Temples Halloran Funeral Home Chapel, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212.The Reverend Dr. J. Stephen Chitty will officiate.Burial will follow in Bush River Memorial Gardens.The family will greet family and friends from 12:00-1:00 p.m.prior to the service at the funeral home. Jonathan passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2016.Born on May 6, 1979 in Columbia, he is the son of David Hampton Field and Elaine Fulton Field.Jonathan graduated from Dutch Fork High School in 1997 where he played soccer and graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2005 with Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice.He was a member of Riverland Hills Baptist Church. He will be remembered for his easy-going, witty personality, his passion for the USC Gamecocks, and the love he had for his beautiful daughters. Surviving are his parents of Columbia; daughters, Isabelle S. Field and Cora E. Field; sister, Sherry F. Cates (Troy), as well as nieces, Merry Anna Cates and Molly Caroline Cates; one nephew, David James Cates, as well as his beloved dog, Jack.
