LEESVILLE—John Francis Marchegiano, 68, of Leesville passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2016.Born in Newark, NJ to the late John Marchegiano and Annette Stoppioni Marchegiano.John was a graduate of St. Peters University in Jersey City, NJ.He worked for many years as an accountant for the Prismatic Development Corp. in Fairfield, NJ.In South Carolina John was an active member at Our Lady of Hills Catholic Church and was very involved in many committees.He loved living and playing on the lake with his wife, Elaine. Surviving in addition to his beloved wife, Elaine Marchegiano of Leesville; brother, Roger Marchegiano (Charlene) of Whippany, NJ; nephews and niece, Richard Marchegiano of Whippany, NJ; Joelle Marchegiano ofWhippany, NJ and Steven Marchegiano (Michele) of McKinney, TX; great-niece and great-nephew,Evelyn Rose Marchegiano and Anthony John Marchegiano of McKinney, TX; aunt, Elena Stoppioni of Verona, NJ; two cousins, Joyce Palm (Victor) of Easton, PA and Sandra Facciponti (Charles) of East Hanover, NJ. Memorials may be made to Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church, 120 Marydale Lane, Columbia, SC 29210. Service to be held at a later date. Temples Halloran Funeral Home is assisting the family.
