Jimmie Odell Plemmons

Jimmie Odell Plemmons, 82, of Gilbert, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 13, 2021.He was born in Union, SC to the late Charles Odell Plemmons and Frances Meadows Plemmons. Jimmie proudly served in the Army National Guard for 11 years.Jimmie was a past member of First Baptist Church of Irmo and a current member of First Baptist Church of Gilbert where he was very active in both churches. Survived by his loving wife of over 60 years, Ann Hardin Plemmons; sons, V. Wayne Plemmons (Melanie), and Timothy O. Plemmons, Sr. (Kelley); daughter, Susan Hendrix (Paul); sister, Rita Vinson (Gene); 3 wonderful grandchildren, Andrew Plemmons, Timothy O. Plemmons, Jr. (Randi) and Ashley Solares (Edwin); 2 great-grandchildren, Jayce Best, and Maggie Plemmons. The family would like to extend a heartfelt and special thanks to Pathway Hospice for their care and support. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Gilbert, 441 Lewie St., Gilbert, SC 29054. A private graveside service will be held in Bush River Memorial Gardens.
