Irmo—The funeral service for Mrs. Jessie Bradley Bellamy, 92, of Irmo will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, March 13, 2021, in the Mausoleum Chapel of Bush River Memorial Gardens, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia SC 29212.The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. prior to the funeral in the mausoleum chapel.Entombment will follow in Bush River Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.The Reverend Ron Rhodes will officiate. Mrs. Bellamy was born September 24, 1928, in West Columbia and passed away at the Heritage at Lowman on March 10, 2021.She was the daughter of the late Jesse Bradley and Iceoline Lowman Bradley.Jessie was a former member at College Place and Salem United Methodist Churches and attended the Family Worship Center in Irmo. Mrs. Bellamy retired from Southern Bell after 24 years of faithful service. Survivors include daughter, Gloria Hawkins (Bill) of Irmo; sons, Ralph E. Bellamy (Catherine) of Irmo and David D. Bellamy of Columbia; grandchildren, Wendy Hawkins, Matthew Bellamy and Mandy Bellamy; and brother, James Bradley of South Congaree. She was preceded in death by her late husband, John Bellamy; and brother, John Henry Bradley. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256.
