Due to impending weather conditions the family of Jennifer Bouker has moved the service to next Saturday, 9/22/2018! Formerly of Lexington—A Celebration of Life Service for Jennifer Leigh Bouker, 32, formerly of Lexington will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Temples Halloran Funeral Home Chapel, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212. Reverend Herb Gladden and Revered Josh Powell will officiate.The family will greet friends from 1:30 p.m.-3:00 p.m. prior to the service. Jennifer went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 3, 2018.She was born in Goldsboro, NC and is the daughter of Retired Col. William Hubbard and Ruby Green Hubbard.Though Jennifer's time with us was short, she had a very positive impact on a great many people. This was evidenced at a very early point in her life when her first book "Through Silver Eyes" was published when she was only 14 years old. She next went on to finish her stellar High School Career by overcoming adversity and surpassing expectations graduating a full year ahead of schedule; all while earning a full scholarship to the University of South Carolina. She touched many people in her life, from those who she helped to find the Lord that witnessed her role in the Christian play "This Man Called Jesus", or those she reached with her kind acts or reached with her book. Her lasting impact can not be better witnessed on a daily basis than by looking at her two beautiful boys. They are, as she was, truly a gift from God! Surviving in addition to her loving husband of 13 years, MSgt. Chris Bouker; sons, Christopher “Edward” Bouker II andLucian Lee Bouker; sisters, Rebecca Wilkins, Sherry Leigh Mallory and Belinda Sue Jones (Callie Gene); brothers, Travis Hubbard (Christy), Wade Hubbard and Steven Hubbard (Melissa).Those who preceded her in death was her brother, Nathan Wayne Hubbard.
