COLUMBIA- Jeffrey Campbell McDonald, 51, of Columbia, S.C., passed away on Friday, May 15, 2020.Born in Anderson, S.C., he was the son of Shirley Pilgrim McDonald of Columbia, S.C. and James Roddy McDonald and his wife Brenda, of Pomaria, S.C. Jeffrey was a graduate of Irmo High School and the University of South Carolina.Jeffrey was a caring and compassionate person and a loving son and brother.Jeffrey will be deeply missed by his family and friends. In addition to his parents, Jeffrey is survived by his brother, Grant McDonald and wife Debra as well as their three children, Abby, Grae, and Maggie, all of Prosperity, S.C.; Aunts and Uncles of Anderson, S.C., Dorothy and Frank Kellam; and Betty and Mike Strickland; and Cousin, Haley (Michael) Davis and their son, Cullen of Pomaria, S.C. Jeffrey is also survived by his three step brothers: Kenny, Mark, and Lin Shelton of Irmo and Lexington, S.C.; as well as his “special friend,” Sandy Marcengill of Columbia. Jeffrey was predeceased by his maternal and paternal grandparents, Curtis and Lorene Pilgrim and Ruby and James McDonald, all of Anderson, S.C.
