Jannette B. Robinson

Jannette Berrier Robinson of Columbia, SC died peacefully in her home on October 2, 2021.Born in Columbia, on July 8, 1931, she was the daughter of the late William Hoyt Berrier and Louise Kearse Berrier.She was a member of the St. Andrews Church of Christ in Columbia, SC.Jannette had retired with 30 years of faithful service from the S.C. Department of Mental Health as the head purchasing agent for the Division of Financial Services.From there she spent many years working with her twin sister, Annette, in court reporting and medical depositions.After that, Jannette spent her remaining years working in her beloved yard with her skilled hands planting and gardening. Surviving are daughter, Bonnie A. Waites (Allen) and sons, John Ronald Amaker (Stephanie) and Louis Robinson; twin sister, Annette Gore; grandson, Neil Boone; granddaughter, Erin Durney (Nathan); two lifelong friends, Sandra and Christie.She was preceded in death by her siblings, William Berrier, James Berrier, Marilyn Joye, and Edyth Jones, along with her late parents. The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation for the loving care shown to Jannette by MSA Hospice. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Meals on Wheels Programs, Seven Oaks Park, 200 Leisure Lane, Columbia, SC 29210. A private service with family only due to Covid 19 restriction. Temples Halloran Funeral Home is assisting the family.
