Little Mountain—Jane Muir Brundage, 62, passed away Monday, September 15, 2014.Mrs. Brundage was born in Santa Barbara, California.She was the daughter of Juanita Hurt and the late Richard Brundage. She is survived by her husband of 34 years Ron Callahan, Sr.; daughter, Julie Brundage and son-in-law, Reid Green of Chapin, two step-children, Ron Callahan Jr. of Columbia,Michelle Callahan Moseley and son-in-law, Dickey Moseley of Columbia; three grandchildren, Conner Green, Richard and Kristen Moseley and a brother, Jim Brundage of Lexington, Kentucky. Mrs. Brundage was President and founder of Palmetto Shelving Systems in White Rock, SC for 32 years.She was also co-founder and Vice President of PETS Incorporated for 22 years. She had many professional accomplishments, but the greatest and dearest to her heart was in rescuing thousands of abandoned and abused animals.Mrs. Brundage was an avid gardener.She grew beautiful roses, herbs and other plants and flowers. She enjoyed sitting down with a good book surrounded by all of her rescued animals.She loved to travel; her favorite place to relax was Hilton Head. The visitation will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2014 from 12:00-2:00 PM at Temples-Halloran Funeral Home 5400 Bush River Rd., Columbia, SC 29212.A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM for family & close friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to PETS Incorporated, PO Box 6394, West Columbia, SC 29169. PETS Inc. was founded in January 1992 by Patricia McQueen & Jane Brundage.
