James Hobson Conner

A private service for James (Jim) Hobson Conner, 82, of Little Mountain, South Carolina will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024. Burial will be held at Bush River Memorial Gardens. Jim was born on October 5, 1941, in Millport, Alabama, and went to Heaven to be with The Lord on Monday, January 15, 2024, with his devoted wife and his only daughter by his side. He was the son of the late Dewey Conner and Velma (Freeman) Conner-Kizzire of Millport, Alabama. Jim was a proud Samford University graduate and a member of Riverland Hills Baptist Church and Gideon’s Irmo camp. Survivors include his loving wife of 52 years, Sarah; daughter, Candace Lee Ganjavi (son in law, Joshua) and 4 grandchildren (Nathanael James, Levi Judson, Kyra Joy, and Micah John) of Houston, Texas; and his nephew Jonathan Fowler of Columbus, Mississippi. Preceded in death by his father, Dewey Conner; mother, Velma; sister and brother in law, Betty & Tony Fowler; and his nephew, Greg Fowler.
