Jaiden Abraham Vasquez

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jaiden Abraham Vasquez, 9, of Irmo. Born on June 15, 2015 in Columbia, South Carolina, he was the son of Jose A. Vasquez and Krystena M. Mortenson.

Jaiden was full of life and loved to make people laugh. He was a ray of sunshine in any room and was an outspoken young man who told it like it was. He loved WWE wrestling, jewelry, and sneakers. Jaiden enjoyed spending time with Sophie the Doberman, Max the Pitty mix, and Kitty the cat.

In addition to his parents, Jaiden will be fondly remembered by his paternal grandparents: Jose Vasquez, Sr. and Rosa Arenas; his maternal grandmother: Sabine Sobczyk; his sisters: Isabella N. Vasquez, Katalina Y. Vasquez, and Aubree M. Mortenson; brothers: Dylan G. Vasquez, Yair E. Vasquez, and Kaiden J. McGee; aunts: Nancy San Juan, Sina Day, and Kaylee Mortenson; uncles: Bryan Vasquez (Claudia), Victor Vasquez, and the rest of the Vasquez family.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at GraceLife Church, 501 Clemson Road, Columbia, South Carolina, 29229.
