Jacqueline Delk Bradham

Jacqueline Delk Bradham, 89, of West Columbia, passed away Monday, May 30, 2022, at Lexington Medical Center.She was born in Blackville, SC, and the daughter of the late Furman W. Delk, Jr. and Mildred Bonds Delk.Jackie grew up in Cayce, SC, and was a graduate of Brookland-Cayce High School.She worked in the insurance industry as a life underwriter and then in accounting at MSI Construction Company well into her 70s.Jacqueline was a member of Springdale Baptist Church of West Columbia.She passed away peacefully with her son and daughter-in-law at her side. Mrs. Bradham is survived by her son, Gary Bradham (Tamie) of Chapin, SC; her grandson, Barrett Bradham (Megan); great-grandson, Daniel, all of Honolulu, Hawaii; sister, Wanda Phillips (David); brother, W.L. “Bo” Delk; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.She was predeceased by her spouse, John W. Bradham, her sister, Gwen D. Fleming, and her brother, Dunbar Delk. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of LMC Extended Care, Spence Place, for all the care and kindness they provided to her over the last six years. Jackie was truly a loving, gracious, and giving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who held a special place in her heart for her grandson and great-grandson.She will be greatly missed. A private family service will be held at a later date.
