Lexington—The funeral service for Irina Crumbo, 53, of Lexington will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 14, 2020, at Riverland Hills Baptist Church, 201 Lake Murray Blvd., Irmo, SC 29063 with Dr. Don Hamilton and Reverend Bill Haselden officiating.Interment will follow in Bush River Memorial Gardens, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212.The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the church. Irina was born in Tiraspol, Moldova to Tatiana Hlebina and the late Vasilii Hlebin. She passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2020.Irina was a resident here since 2001, formerly of Moldova. Before meeting Stan and coming to America, she was a Physical Therapy Nurse in Moldova.Irina worked at Lagniappe Medical Clinic as a Cardiovascular Sonographer, after shadowing the techs and two years of training at Providence Hospital School of Cardiovascular Diagnostics.She was a member of Riverland Hills Baptist Church and the Jesus Touch Sunday School Class. Irina loved bible study and the Lord with all her heart.She fervently had a heart for praying for others. Irina was very proud to be an American Citizen.Irina loved animals all her life. Surviving are her husband, of 19 years, Stanley Crumbo; mother Tatiana Hlebina; son, Vladimir Crumbo and step-daughters, Megan South (Stuart) and Molly Crumbo; sister, Victoria Soufliadou; step-grandchildren, Mason Jenkins, Andrea Crumbo, and Evie South.
