Hugh Clayton Senn, Sr. IRMO - A memorial service for Mr. Hugh Clayton Senn, Sr., will be celebrated on Friday, January 1, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Our Lady of The Lake Catholic Church, 195 Amicks Ferry Road Chapin, S.C. 29036.The service will be conducted by Reverend Dennis B. Willey.Interment will follow at 4:00 pm in Bush River Memorial Gardens with Military Honors. Deacon Jim Atkinson, will officiate at the graveside. Hugh was born in Columbia, S.C. on October 7,1933, to the late William Thomas Senn and Maime Beatrice Warren. He passed away on December 25, 2020. Hugh was a long-time member of Our Lady of the Lake.He faithfully served for 20 years in the U.S. Navy. Hugh will be remembered as a loving husband, a wonderful father, step-father, uncle, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, cousin, and friend. Mr. Senn is survived by his children, Larry Senn (Kay), Karen Bailey (Ron), Sharon Crews, Kenneth Senn (Michele), Gerald Senn, Donald Senn (CP), Donna VelDink (Phillip), and Hugh Senn, Jr. (Lynn); Step-son, Donald Childers; Step-Grandchild, Christina Cassady (Brian), 14 additional grandchildren, as well as also numerous great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Hugh was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Gertrude (Trudy) Senn; brother, Kenneth Senn; granddaughter, Candace (Candy) Rae Nichols; and stepson Dennis Childers.
