CHAPIN—Funeral services for Helen Roberts Lynn, 80, of Chapin, will be held at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at Temples Halloran Funeral Home Chapel, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC29212.Reverend Paul Allen will officiate. Pallbearers will be four grandsons, Kyle Coffin, Kody Geddings, Brad Polin, Michael Lynn, and two nephews, Keith Teasley and Glenn Teasley.Burial will follow in Bush River Memorial Gardens.The family will greet friends from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. She fought a courageous battle with cancer for the past 7 years, passing away on Sunday, June 14, 2015. She was the beloved wife of 46 years to the late Carroll R. Lynn.Born in Chester, she was the daughter of the late Floyd Roberts and Louise Wallace Roberts.She was formerly of St. Matthews and Columbia, moving to Chapin, she was a member of Chapin United Methodist Church.She retired from Carolina Eastman after 30 years.She loved to grow flowers, fish and was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Surviving are her daughters, Lisa Lynn Coffin and her husband, Matthew of Chapin and Karen Lynn and her husband, Tommy Bryant of Mt. Pleasant; son, Michael Ray Lynn and his wife, Brenda of Lexington; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jack Teasley.
