Heather Diane Dotherow

Heather Diane Dotherow, 49, of Columbia, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Monday, December 30, 2024. Born on October 8, 1975, she was the daughter of Emmet D. and Penny C. Dotherow.

A graduate of Dutch Fork High School, Heather was a beautiful girl with a beautiful soul who loved her family and her Church. She fully embraced her faith and love for the Lord. Heather arose to meet every challenge with strength, courage, and grace. She was a collector of many things and had a remarkable Barbie collection. Heather also enjoyed sports and watching the hummingbirds at the feeders.

In addition to her parents, those left to treasure her memory include her sister, Wendy Dotherow-Leming (Rocky) and her niece and nephew, Avalyn Leming and Tristin Leming.

There will be a Celebration of Life Service, Saturday, January 11 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Andrews Baptist Church located at 230 Bush River Road in Columbia.  There will be a visitation prior to the service at 1:00 p.m.  Those who wish to make a memorial contribution in Heather's memory, may donate to the Prisma Health Children’s Hospital or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital .
