Hazel Skipper

Hazel Skipper, 97, of Blythewood, passed away on May 13, 2024. She was born in Columbia on May 22, 1926, and was married to the late Harry B. Skipper. She was a member of Earlewood Baptist Church since April 27, 1987. She will always be our special treasure. The love she had for God, her beloved Harry B., and her family, she loved because God loved her first. We wouldn’t change you for the world, but we wish we could have changed the world for you. A special thanks to Love and Care, John Fling Ministries, Earlewood Baptist Church, and Babcock Center (they all considered her as a grandmother). Hazel is survived by many family members who will love and miss her. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at Taylor Cemetery. The Reverend Bill Robertson will officiate.
