The funeral service for Gordon S. Deans, 85, of Pelion, will be held Friday, March 8, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., in the chapel of Temples-Halloran Funeral Home. The Family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the hour of service. Entombment will follow the service at Bush River Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Mr. Deans was born on November 27, 1938, in Castine, Maine, and passed away on March 4, 2024. He was the son of Norris G. Deans and Gertrude Snowman Deans. Mr. Deans proudly served his country in the United States Army. Dad absolutely loved his Family and his time with each of them, and he always enjoyed a great game of baseball and some ice cream of any flavor! Words will never describe the impact of his unconditional love, his guidance, and the insight that he has provided to each of us! Survivors include his Wife of 62+ years, Mary Elizabeth Walker Deans. He is survived by his siblings, Leroy and Nancy and his children, Scott and his wife Judy, Darren and his wife, Shawn, Shane and his wife Dawn, and Parrish and his wife, Sandy, and his grandchildren, Robbie, Danielle, Matthew, Branden, Taylor, Dalton, Forrest, Briana, DJ, Brittany, Sami, Alli, and Lexi and his great grandchildren, Harley, Chloe, Colleen, Colin, Jacob, Kinslee, Maverick, Ada, Asher, Raya, Nolan, and Grayson. Besides his parents, Mr. Deans was preceded in death by his brother Dana, his Grandson, Maverick, and his Granddaughter, Kailyn.
