Gladys Randolph, 92, of Columbia, was born on July 15th, 1929, to Clarence and Sarah Lee Randolph. Gladys gained her wings on August 17, 2021. She was the 6th out of 10 girls. An inurnment Ms. Randolph will be held in Bush River Memorial Gardens Angel Columbarium on Saturday, August 28, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. She leaves behind her only living sister, Albertha Randolph. Gladys was never married and didn't have any children of her own, but she had many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and nephews that she loved like her very own. Gladys attended school in South Carolina up until the 9th grade. After that, she moved to New York, where she attended nursing school and received her nursing certificate. She then started working at the VA hospital in the Bronx. Gladys moved back to Columbia, South Carolina, where she worked at the VA hospital until she retired after more than 36 years. She was loved by many and will be missed, but we know that she's in a better place looking down on us. So let's rejoice because she has gained her wings, and has gone to be with her heavenly father. Gladys is gone but will never be forgotten.
