The memorial service for Georgie Kimball Hansen will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2024, in the chapel at Temples-Halloran Funeral Home. The Rev. Dr. Mark Bredholt will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service. Mrs. Hansen, 98, of Columbia, passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2024. She was born in Columbia to Willie A. Kimball and Alice Black Kimball on June 18, 1925. She was employed as head of lady's department at Tapp’s Department store for many years. Georgie is survived by her daughters, Kim Hansen, age 60, and Debra Sutherland, age 69; three grandchildren, Teri Copas, Aaron McGough and Shanell Lombardo; and six great grandchildren, Preston McGough, Alex McGough, Kayde McGough, Deanna Copas, Breanna Copas and Parker Lombardo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jens, of 73 years, and her daughter, Helen McGough.
