George Thomas Larson

COLUMBIA—George Thomas Larson, 85, of Columbia, died Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Palmetto Health Baptist Parkridge. Born in Tioga, Wisconsin on March 16, 1932, he was the son of the late Ellen Larson. George proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He had worked for many years as an Account Manager in the Electrical Instrument Control Industry. Surviving is his wife, Suzi M. Larson of 64 years; daughter, Sherrye Johnson (David) of Ashville, NC; sisters, Betty and Bonnie; brothers, Ronald, Raymond, Roger, Richard and Randy; grandchildren, Andrea and Teresa; great-granddaughter, Haley and great-grandson, David. Those who preceded him in death, besides his mother, were brothers, Roland and Russell. Inurnment service will be held on Monday, July 10, 2017 at 2:00 p.m.in Ft. Jackson National Cemetery, 4170 Percival Road, Columbia, SC 29229. Father John Murray will officiate.
