GCOLUMBIA—Funeral services for G. Donald, 92 and Rebecca W. Fulmer, 93, both of Columbia, will be held at 2:00 p.m.,Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Mt. Horeb Lutheran Church, 101 E. Boundary St., Chapin, SC 29036, Reverend Ralph G. Hill and Reverend John P. Trump will be officiating.Burial will follow in Bush River Memorial Gardens, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212.The family will greet friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the church prior to the service. Rebecca Wise Fulmer passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2018,followed by her loving husband of 70 years, G. Donald Fulmer on Wednesday, March 21, 2018. Both were born in Lexington County. Rebecca was the daughter of the late G. Herman Wise and Annie Lee Shealy Wise. Donald was the son of the late Wilbur E. Fulmer and Lula Mae Shealy Fulmer. Rebecca was a graduate of Newberry College and taught in the Chapin Schools and also worked for Wilbur Smith and Associates.G. Donald Fulmer was a proud veteran of the United States Navy during WWII, and he worked for over 37 years with the United States Postal Service. They were members of Mt. Horeb Lutheran Church, St. Andrews Lutheran Church and Ascension Lutheran Church. Surviving are their children, son, Don Fulmer, Jr. (Becky); daughter, Angela Fulmer Brown (Willard); grandchildren, Kelly Beasley (Chris), Dawn Jennings (Tripp), Ryan Brown (Lisa) and Leah Vaughn; great-grandchildren, Ryan, Jr.& Jaden Brown, Aiden & T.J. Jennings and Rhett Vaughn; Rebecca’s sister & brother, Glenda W. Lominick (Richard) and Darr Wise. Rebecca and Donald were preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
