Gary W. Rollison

Gary Wayne Rollison, 65, of Cayce, South Carolina, passed away on December 23rd, 2020. He was born on February 22nd, 1955 to the late Emmett Odell Rollison and Vivian Maddy Purdue. He was the loving husband of Alma Darlene Rollison for 39 years. Gary was a heavy equipment operator for 35 years and spent his last several years working proudly for Goodwill Industries. Mr. Rollison was a family man and took great pride in his grandchildren. He was an avid Steelers fan and a loyal Gamecocks fan. He served for several years as a deacon. Mr. Rollison loved yard work and tinkering in his shop in his free time; he always had a new project to show anyone who stopped by to see him. Surviving him are his wife, Darlene; two sons, Greg Fleeman and wife Tricia of Lexington, SC,and Kevin Rollison and wife Susan of Havelock, NC; 8 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Emmett O. Rollison Jr., and two sisters, Cathy Paisley and Jenny Gordon, all of NC. A Celebration of Life is being planned and will be announced at a later date.
