Furnie Edward Zellars August 6, 1943 – July 26, 2021 Born August 6, 1943, grew up in the Low Country of SC on a family farm where he learned the value of family and hard work. Ed worked for Greyhound Bus Lines for more than 25 years and later drove charter buses for Adventure Charter and Tours and Lewis Bus Lines. He also worked in transportation operations for the City of Columbia as well as drove a city bus. Ed loved spending time with his family, friends, and Sunday school class at Mt. Horeb UMC. One of his favorite times of the day was watching the sun come up over Lake Murray with a fishing rod in his hand. Ed was called home through the saving grace of his Savior Jesus Christ and into the reward of Heaven with his Heavenly Father to rejoin his Father Timothy, Mother Evelyn, Brother Harold, and his maternal and paternal grandparents and in-laws Bob and Rebecca Moore. Remaining to celebrate his life is his wife of 43 years, Melody, Daughters Nancy Platt, Angela Lyons (Don) and sons Ed Morris (Robin) and Jason Morris (Heather) along with 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and niece Lisa Allen (John).
