Franklin Brooke Harwick, of Chapin, passed away on Friday, December 25, 2020.Mr. Harwick was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania to parents Henry and Rachael Harwick.Mr. Harwick worked for Mack Trucks and served in the United States Air Force. Franklin was a long-standing member of Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church and a recent member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church.Additionally, he was lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus.Mr. Harwick was also a proud member of the American Legion: Chapin Post.Mr. Harwick was preceded in death by his parents. Those left to mourn his loss but celebrate his life include his loving wife, Bonnie Harwick; daughters, Tiffany Stamps (fiancé, Shawn Brady), Vanessa (Brad) Imker; sons, Jason Harwick (Zoltan Kalocsai); a sister, Phyllis Sass; grandchildren, Megan, Spencer, Travis, Samantha, Jaidyn, and great grandchildren, Cade and Callie. The family would like to thank Leah Heinzen and Lexington Medical Center for their kindness and care during his illness. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital,262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105. Services for Mr. Harwick will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
