Frank Kulas, 92, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2024. Born in W. Homestead, PA., he came to Columbia in 1969 with Barbara, his wife of 66 years, and his family when Westinghouse moved its nuclear fuel operations to South Carolina. He retired from Westinghouse after 36 years of service. Frank was an Army veteran, an avid golfer, and a member of Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his four children: Mark Kulas (Michele) of Willis, TX; Cynthia Anderson (Mike) of Lexington, SC; Keith Kulas (Jessica) of Moore, SC; and Craig Kulas of Las Vegas, NV. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Matthew Kulas and Katie Kulas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Women's Shelter, 3425 Main St, Columbia, SC 29203. A family memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 18, 2024, at the Chapel of Temples-Halloran Funeral Home.
