IRMO—The funeral service for Eula M. Lowman, 97, of Irmo will held Monday, October 1, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Temples Halloran Funeral Home, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212 with the Reverend Jay Black officiating. The entombment will follow in the Mausoleum in Bush River Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of service at funeral home. Born in Blythewood, SC on February 22, 1921 she was the daughter of the late Thomas P. Meetze and Blanche Eargle Meetze.She passed away on Wednesday, September 26, 2018.Eula was a long time member of Park Street Baptist Church. Surviving is her daughter, Joyce L. Britt (Dick) of Irmo; sons, Fred D. Lowman, Sr.(Micky)of Irmo and Richard C. Lowman (Carolyn) of Irmo; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren, as well as a number of nieces and nephews. Precededin death besides her parents, herhusband, Roof E. Lowman; son-in-law, Bobby J. Monts; great-granddaughter, Ashley Jones; as well as 2 brothers and 2 sisters. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Park Street Baptist Church, 2204 Park Street, Columbia, SC 29201.
