Etta Jo Bass

Our mother, Etta Jo Bass was born December 3, 1923, and entered heaven on September 22, 2021. She enjoyed living in her home in Irmo, SC for 28 years.Our dad, SFC Charles Thomas Bass, served our country in the Army. Wherever we were stationed our mother made a loving home and brought joy, celebration, and encouragement. She loved God, her husband, and her family. She grew up on a farm in the country in Equality, Alabama, then graduated from Saint Margaret’s NursingSchool in Montgomery. She was a nurse at Moncrief Hospital on Ft. Jackson, then cared for people in their homes until she was 85 yrs old. She is survived by her son, CT Bass; her daughter, Bobbie Jean Seidman, and their spouses, Brenda Bass and Don Seidman; as well as 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She lived a good life and is so loved and missed.
