Dr. Enoch Karobe Beraho, 83, of Columbia was born on December 25th, 1938, in Mbarara, Uganda to the late Ezekiel and Faith Karobe and passed away on Sunday, February 6th, 2022. Enoch earned a Bachelor of Science with honors, University London, 1965. Master of Science in Genetics, Makerere University, Kampala, Uganda, 1972. Master of Business Administration, National University, San Diego, 1981, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Management, United States International University, San Diego, 1978. Genetics research fellow, Ministry of Agriculture Uganda, Kampala, 1966-1972; Assistant Professor of Business Management, South Carolina State University, Orangeburg, 1981-1985; Associate Professor of Business Management, South Carolina State University, Orangeburg, 1985-1997; Tenured Professor of Business Management, South Carolina State University, Orangeburg, since 1997. Dr. Beraho retired from teaching in 2015. Financial Advisor Euclare Health Center, Columbia, South Carolina, since 1995. Member of the American Statistics Association and Western Academy of Management. Enoch obtained research grants totaling over a million dollars and presented this research globally, including conferences in Greece, Romania, and China.Enoch enjoyed spending time with family, reading, traveling, discussing politics, walking Huey, writing, and grilling T-bone steaks. Those left to mourn his loss include his loving wife of 29 years, Leoncia Beraho; daughters, Dr. Lorraine Beraho, Nicole Beraho, and adopted daughter, Asumpter Kyomuhendo Warees; sons, Dr. Joseph Beraho, Dr. Emmanuel Beraho, and Nicholas Beraho; sister, Erinora Karobe; and grandchildren Erica, Mark, Kansiime, Ken, Joyce, Amanda, Sydney, Mark, and Patience Beraho. Enoch was preceded in death by his children; Thomas Beraho, Patrick Beraho, and Ann Beraho; his brother, Kapasi Karobe, and his sisters, Joyce Grace Kabakama, and Jovanice Karobe.
