Elizabeth R. "Lib" Ross

A Celebration of Life Service will be held for Elizabeth “Lib” R. Ross, 90, West Columbia, at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at Temples Halloran Funeral Home Chapel. The family will greet friends from 2:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Lib was born in Columbia, SC on June 9, 1931, and passed away in her home surrounded by her family on December 24, 2021.She was the daughter of the late Noah Lee Ruff and Gladys Wilson Ruff.She retired from Bell South after 42 years of dedicated service. Survivors include her daughter, Janet Carter (Billy) of Columbia; three grandchildren, Alison Carter (James Gray), Nicole Elledge, and Shannon Carder (Bryan); three great-grandchildren, Carter Elledge, McKenna Carder, and Kaden Carder; very dear, sister-in-law, Becky Richardson (Jimmy).Lib was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert B. Ross, Sr., parents and three brothers, James Ruff, Joseph Ruff “Brother” and Jerry Ruff.
