IRMO—A private graveside service for Elizabeth Eulala Paddock, 92, of Irmo will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 13, 2017 in Bush River Memorial Gardens, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212. Eulala beloved wife of the late William Russell Paddock, passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2017.Born in St. Petersburg, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Julian T. Doughtie and Margaret Gamble Doughtie.She was a member of Union United Methodist Church.She was a member of the Palmetto Shell Club, a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (Granby Chapter)and a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy (Lexington Chapter).Eulala was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Surviving are her sons, William R. Paddock, Jr. of Irmo, Frederick Allen Paddock (Jennie) of Irmo and John Gamble Paddock (Christine) of Columbia; daughter-in-law, JoLee Paddock; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-five years, William R. Paddock, Sr. and her son, Thurston Doughtie Paddock.
