Elizabeth H. Daniel

COLUMBIA—Funeral services for Elizabeth H. Daniel, 86, of Columbia, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Temples Halloran Funeral Home Chapel, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212.Reverend Glenn McGugan, Sr. will officiate. Entombment will follow in Bush River Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Daniel, beloved wife for 54 years to the late Jamie W. Daniel, born in Fayetteville, NC to the late Ammie Horne and Minnie Strickland Horne. She was a member of the Steadman Church God in North Carolina and attended the Church of God of Prophecy in Columbia, SC. Elizabeth was a member of St. Andrews FCL Club. Surviving are her daughter, Joye E. Laney (Alan) Irmo; son, Jay A. Daniel (Angela)of Chapin; 3 grandchildren, Michelle Whitehead, Austin and Adam Daniel; one great-grandchild, Jamie Daniel Whitehead; two sisters, Ruby Cashwell (Robert) Autryville, NC, Mitchell “Mickey” Land, Pelion, SC;three brother, Philip Horne (Peggy) of Fayetteville, NC, Gerald Horne (Sue) of Autryville, NC, Larry Horne (Patricia) Fayetteville, NC; sisters-in-law, Jean Horne and Peggy Horne both of Fayetteville, NC and a number of nieces and nephews. Elizabeth was preceded in death by an infant daughter and two brothers J. B. and Arthur Horne. Memorials may be made to the Church of God of Prophecy, 1207 Virginia Ave., Columbia, SC 29201.
