CHAPIN—The funeral service for Elaine Toone Moore, 67, of Chapin will be held Sunday, September 23, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Temples Halloran Funeral Home, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212. Burial will follow in Bush River Memorial Gardens.The Reverend Ken Kelly will officiate.The visitation will be held from 2:00-3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Born on February 2, 1951 in Hampton, SC, she was the daughter of the late James Archie Toone and Vera Smith Toone. Mrs. Moore passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2018.Elaine was a member of the Chapin Baptist Church. Surviving are loving husband, Warren W. “Wes” Moore of 39 years; son, James W. Moore of Little Mountain, SC; sister, Judy Zippie (David) of Aurora, CO; brother, Lanier Toone (Emma) of Estill, SC; daughter-in-law, Jacquelyn A. “Jackie” Moore of Columbia; niece, Megan Zippie; nephew, David J. Zippie; beloved family dog, Sally. Those who preceded her in death besides her parents; son, Nicholas B. “Nick” Moore. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2715 Bull Street, Columbia, SC 29520.
