Dorothy Elaine Pyle, born March 17, 1923 in Somerset County, Pa. passed away on August 14, 2015, daughter of Charles A. Ash & Bessie Moore Ash, deceased.She was a graduate of Somerset High School 1941.Past Matron of Cheverly, MD Chapter # 111 OES, current member of Ballentine chapter Eastern Star, member at large from International Beta Segma Phi and a member of Chapin Methodist Church, Chapin SC.She resided at Lowman home, White Rock, SC. The family will be receiving guest Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Temples-Halloran Funeral Home, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212. Sservice will follow at 12:00 noon.A burial grave site service will be held at Beam Cemetery, Gray Pa.at 1:00 pm, August 21, 201. Surviving are her two sons, David Pyle, wife, Sherry of Chapin, SC, and Dennis Pyle, wife Brenda of Athens, Ga.; 5 grandchildren, Amanda Torres, husband Rob of Chapin, SC, Jeremy Pyle, wife Amanda, of Chapin SC, Joshua Pyle, wife, Kendra, of Alpharetta, GA, Genna Clark, husband, Andrew of Jefferson, GA, and Rachel Konomos husband, John of Lawrenceville, GA. plus 9 great-grandchildren.Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Eugene F. Pyle.
