West Columbia—Funeral services for Doris Dale Goodwin, 79, of West Columbia, will be held at 12:00 p.m., Monday, January 28, 2019, at Pineview Baptist Church, 3010 Leaphart Rd, West Columbia, SC 29169 with Reverend Brandon Sandifer officiating. Burial will follow in Bush River Memorial Gardens, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212.The family will greet friends at 11:00-12:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Doris passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2019.Born in Philipp, Mississippi to the late H. B. McKay and Omega White McKay. She retired from Carolina Eastman Kodak.Doris was a member of Pineview Baptist Church and was very active in the Children’s Nursey,and volunteered in the Clothing and Food Pantry. Surviving is her son, Bradley Page; daughter, Karen Hess; sister, Barbara Daniels (Daniel); brothers, Joe McKay (Irma) and Bradley McKay (Nancy); grandchildren, Kayla Page, Savannah Wortman (Robert Walker) and Brandon Page; two great-grandchildren, Brolin Wortman and Cole Walker.She was preceded in death by a son, Bill Page; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Page; brother, Otis Ray McKay. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pineview Baptist Church, 3010 Leaphart Rd, West Columbia, SC 29169.
