Debbie A. Duncan

Debbie Arlene Duncan, 65, passed peacefully on Saturday, June 22, 2024 in Columbia, South Carolina. Debbie was born on October 15, 1958, in San Francisco, CA, to Sylvia Wills. A longtime resident of Irmo, South Carolina, Debbie was a passionate animal advocate, an amazing home chef, and a friend to many, never knowing a stranger. Her bubbly personality and infamous cherry dump cake will be remembered by those who loved her. Preceded in death by her beloved brother, Alfred L. Wills III, and stepfather, Alfred L. Wills II. Debbie is survived by her mother, Sylvia Wills, sister Lisa (Chris) Degnan, brother Michael (Kayla) Wills, daughter Crystal (Jason) Nickel, grandchildren James and Charlotte Nickel, nieces Brittany Degnan and Jenna (Alex) Farrior, and nephews Michael and Cameron Wills. A celebration of life will be held at a later time in one of Debbie’s favorite places, ocean front in Garden City, SC. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Final Victory Animal Rescue of Columbia,SC in honor of Debbie Duncan supporting the campaign to “Adopt Don’t Shop”.
