CHAPIN—Davis beloved son of Sean and Heidi Cripe, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 26, 2017.Born in Lafayette, Indiana he is the son of Sean Allen Cripe and Heidi Jo Gibson Cripe.He was a Sophomore at Spring Hill High School, a musician and a member of Freeway Music as a drummer.Davis had been a scholar and a member of Fusion Youth Group at Chapin United Methodist Church.He was currently employed at The Plex Indoor Sports. Davis was an amazing son and was larger than life and he did everything with great passion.He made us and his friends, laugh non-stop and had an immense love for music and its healing power.He had a personality you couldn’t help, but fall in love with.He is surrounded by great friends, family andwas deeply loved.We Love You, Davis – You will always be with us. Surviving in addition to his parents, Sean and Heidi Cripe of Chapin; sisters, Melissa and Alysia Cripe of Chapin; grandmother, Jackie Cripe of Lafayette, IN; grandparents, Jim and Sharon Cripe of Nineveh, IN; grandmother, Cheryl Harrington of Delphi, IN;grandfather, Leon Houghton of Lafayette, IN; uncles and aunts, Cheri and Andy Pruitt of Lafayette, IN, Amy andTed Nitza of New Paltz, NY and Will Gibson of Delphi, IN; cousins, Eden, Hope, Trey, Caleb, Daniel, Emily, Gehrig, Tanner and Marley. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Dean Gibson. A Celebration of Life for Davis Allen Cripe, 16, of Chapin, will be held at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Chapin United Methodist Church 415 Lexington Ave., Chapin, SC 29036, Reverend Jody Flowers will officiate.Burial will follow in the church Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
