David E. Stephens

IRMO—The memorial service for David E. Stephens, 63, of Irmo will be held Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Temples Halloran Funeral Home Chapel, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212 at 2:00 p.m. with Mr. Ed Kirkland officiating. The visitation will be held Saturday, January 6, 2018 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. David passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2018.He was bornon October 29, 1954 in Columbia, SC and was the son of the late Ormand Weston Stephens and Betty Lucille Johnson Stephens.David had previously worked R. E. Phelon Company in Aiken, SC and later years he owned and operated EZ Motors, LLC. He will be remembered as a loving husband, brother and friend to all who knew him. Survivors included his loving wife of 38 years, Deborah Haney Stephens of Irmo; sisters, Christy Gilliam (Al) of Columbia and Robin Darnell of Pensacola, FL; brothers, Tony R. Stephens (Beth) of Jonesborough, TN and Nick Stephens (Karen) of Washington, GA; sister-in-law, Patricia Haney of Columbia; as well as a number of nephews, nieces, grand-nephews and grand-nieces. Memorials may be made to Hospice Care of South Carolina, 3955 Southeastern Way, West Columbia, SC 29169.
