David Bailey Mclaughlin

David Bailey McLaughlin, 50, of Chapin, passed away on December 3, 2023. He was born in Statesville, NC, on January 27, 1973, to William Johnston McLaughlin and Diane Lee Bailey McLaughlin. David was a 1991 graduate of Chapin High School. David was blessed to have so many good friends. He loved hunting with his Dad, fishing with Cliff, playing golf, spending time at Joe and Luanne’s, watching sports, cooking out, going out on the lake and pulling for the Gamecocks. Throughout David’s working career, he worked at SC Farm Bureau, Medical Services of America, and Palmetto State Electric. “Uncle Dave” or “Super Dave” will be missed by all his friends and family. David is survived by parents and aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, William Johnston McLaughlin, Jr. and his black lab, Pearl.
