David A. Dale

The funeral service for David Allen Dale, 66, of Columbia, will be held on Monday, December 5, 2022, at noon in the Chapel of Temples Halloran Funeral Home, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212. The Dale family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Elmwood Cemetery. Reverend John Hamilton will officiate. David was born on November 9, 1956, in Columbia, SC, and departed this earthly life on November 29, 2022. He was the son of the late Blanchard Marvin Dale and Mary Bessinger Dale. David graduated from Irmo High School and attained an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice from Midlands Tech. He was formerly an Eagle Scout and a longtime Park Street Baptist Church member. Dale was currently attending New Life Baptist Church and was an avid Clemson Tiger Fan. David worked for many years in law enforcement and retired as an Investigator with the Dept. of Juvenile Justice, State of South Carolina. Survivors include his only son, Cory Dale of the home; one sister, Camille Fallaw (Clark) of Columbia. He was preceded in death by his parents and former wife, Robyn Davis Dale.
