Cynthia Dickerson

A Memorial Service for Cynthia Rhyner Dickerson, 75, of Chapin, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 1, 2022, at St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church, 735 Old Lexington Hwy, Chapin, SC 29036. The Reverend Deacon Ann Pilat and The Reverend Doug Graul will officiate. Inurnment will follow at 1:30 p.m. in St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church Cemetery. Cynthia was born in Lancaster, SC to the late Samuel Lee Rhyner and Wilma Catherine McCorkle Rhyner on January 24, 1947. She graduated Cum Laude from USC with a Nursing Degree. Cynthia was very active in her church as a Lay Reader, Flower Guild, and Sunday School Teacher. Cynthia loved the beach and cooking for her family and friends. Survivors include her husband of 51 years, John Dickerson; foster son, Richard Miller (Kelli); sister, Belinda Fulmer; brother, Eric Jerome Rhyner (Diana); grandson, Jase Merick Geiger and 2 granddaughters; 4 foster grandchildren, Rilee, Kelsi, Braeden, and Alee Miller; great-grandchild, Layla Ross. She also leaves behind her 2 beloved dogs, Lucy and Isabella. Cynthia was preceded in death by her daughter, Ida Roseanne Dickerson; her son, Eric Jerome Geiger.
