Crystal Ann Lutz

Crystal Ann Lutz, 41, of Columbia, granddaughter of Ed and the late JoAnn Best and daughter of the late Debra Ann Lutz and the late Mark Lutz died Thursday, January, 7, 2021 after a long heart illness. Crystal had a loud and outgoing personality who never met a stranger.She enjoyed being the life of the party and was always willing to help those in need.She had a true appreciation for the Irmo Emergency Medical Services who rendered her care and other medical personnel who cared for her during her many hospitalizations.Crystal is now healed and is able to run, dance the jig, and do the twist with those who went before her.Now she has peace at the feet of Jesus. Those who mourn Crystal’s passing but celebrate her life include her brother Matthew Lutz; sister, Tonya Lutz; maternal grandfather, Edwin C. Best, Sr.; Uncle, Eddie (Sandy) Best; cousins, McLeod and McKenna Best; and nieces, Kylie and Kassidy Lutz.She was preceded in death by her parents and maternal grandmother, Jo Ann Best. A graveside service for Crystal will be held on Monday, January 11, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Bush River Memorial Gardens, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, S.C. 29212. The service will be conducted by Pastor McLeod Best and the family will greet friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Irmo Fire Department, 133 Elstow Rd, Irmo, S.C. 29063
